Hi! I am a junior majoring in Bioinformatics at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). I am interested in understanding how institutional policies shape opportunities and career advancement within academia. I am also passionate about computational biology and using data-driven approaches to better understand biological systems.
Keziah John
My name is Keziah John, and I’m a sophomore majoring in individualized studies. I am from Towson, MD. I want to explore how AI can be utilized in hospital and clinical settings. I’m interested in the intersections of AI in patient facing care and improving clinic productivity. Outside of academics, I love to write and have published three books, and I’m on the executive board of the UMBC Creative Writing Club.

I am a senior at Poolesville High School and looking to major in biomedical/biochemical engineering on the pre-med track from Germantown, Maryland. I'm deeply interested in microbiology and meta-science and how academia is constantly improving and changing its ways. Outside of school, I love to train BJJ, go biking, and watch thriller movies.
